Established in 1907, our client is a market leader in menthol-based confectionery. They use the finest ingredients to create a great taste and a product that really works.

As a result of a continuous growth strategy, they are now looking for Process Operatives to join their team in Boston on a permanent contract working at least 16 hours per week.

The Role

As a Process Operative, you will support our client’s Process areas as directed by the Team Leader and Production Manager.

Adhering to company standards, you will ensure the quality of each product and that Health & Safety requirements are adhered to at all times.

You will also report all deficiencies, defects, product or machinery problems to the Team Leader immediately.

Specifically, you will: 

- Complete batch documentation

- Ensure batch numbers expiry dates are clearly visible at all times

- Carry out quality control checks

- Keep work areas clean and tidy

About You

To be considered as a Process Operative, you’ll need:

- Experience gained in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment

- An awareness of GMP standards

- The ability to take direction

- A flexible and adaptable approach

- Good communication skills

- A great eye for detail

Working hours are Sunday to Saturday (comprising of a minimum 2 x 8 hour shifts over a 7 day period between Friday and Monday, inclusive) 4.00am-0.00 pm. Subject to business needs, additional hours of work may be required.

This is a permanent position on a minimum 16 hours contract, including a 12 week probationary period.
