Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator with a strong background in operating Trumpf and/or Bystronic machines to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating 2D laser profiling machines, producing high-precision components from various materials, including exotic alloys, stainless steel, and aluminium. This role requires a precise individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate 2D laser profiling machines with Trumpf and/or Bystronic control systems.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and CAD models to produce components to specified tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any technical issues.
• Conduct first-off inspection and verify the accuracy of machined parts using precision measurement tools.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure all components meet strict quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions to enhance laser profiling processes and efficiencies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a 2D laser profiling operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating 2D laser profiling machines with Trumpf and/or Bystronic control systems.
• Strong understanding of laser profiling processes and materials, including metals and exotic alloys.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
