Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent 

Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum, depending on experience 

We are recruiting a HVAC Engineer to join an existing team located in London and surrounded areas on Data Centres, Stadiums and Commercial Buildings

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive works are carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices, to ensure the responsible sites are fully compliant and follow industry best practices.
• Reactive attendance to emergency callouts plus subsequent fault diagnosis and repair
• Working on VRVs, Split Units, Chillers and AHUs. Installations and repairs.
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and can implement these on site.
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all Company’s employees and clients' representatives.
• Maintain the professional image always and promote our services.
• Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.
• Promote and maintain the core values of the company & our clients.

• Work on own and as part of a team, must be willing to train up and coming apprentices
• Improve site compliance and manage the site logbook system
• To oversee all PPM and reactive tasks are completed within SLA.
• Receiving client issues and resolving these issues effectively without disruption to business or compromising client relationships.
• Be prepared for inclusion on a call out rota for out of hour's emergency response.
• Participate in the on-call rota

Applicants for the role must possess the following:

• You will be an accomplished Air Conditioning Engineer ideally qualified to Level 2 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• Hold a 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants Certificate ( F-Gas). (will help you get it, if you don’t have it)
• Have experience in working with VRV's, Split Units, Chillers and AHU's
• Proficient in fault finding and repair.Have the ability to work independently and in a team, out of hours and weekends. Flexible with travelling around England.
• Have good communication skills, oral and written. 
• Able to work to a high standard and to timescales as required. 
• A strong commitment to continuing personal and professional development.
• Able to display a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to multi-task, prioritising workloads to work to tight deadlines.
• Flexible in your approach and able to cope with the diverse needs of the post.
• Be someone who is highly motivated and possessing a resilience to work under pressure, positive, personable and optimistic with a can-do attitude.
• Be IT/ PC literate.

HVAC Project Manager Position Remuneration

• Basic salary between £40,000-£46,000 DOE
• Company van, travel, hotels
• 28 Days annual leave including Bank Holidays
• Further package details to be discussed at interview
• Overtime
• Mush been able to work some weekends
