Job Title: Aluminium Window Fabricator / General Hand

Location: Telford

Job type: Full time, permanent position.

Midland Alloy has been established for 50 years and specialises in shaped architectural windows, section bending, machining & welding, making components, frames and assemblies for the automotive, rail, aerospace, medical, architectural and engineering industries.

The Candidate:

• Attention to detail
• Competent in use of hand and power tools
• Previous window manufacturing (UPVC or Aluminium) experience is advantageous
• Able to work alone and use own initiative
• Adhering to health and safety procedures on site

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Fabricating a range of shaped aluminium windows including, circular, arched, rectangular etc
• Flexibility for other light engineering work as required
• Interesting and varied role with use of different tools and machinery including drills, saws, routers, and crimpers
• Experience preferred but not essential as training is provided
• Working independently or as part of the team
• Other light engineering work

Day Shift:

Monday - Thursday: 8am - 4:30pm

Friday: 8am - 3:30pm
