The Company:

They are a family-run business built on reputation and quality. They have been providing automated security solutions for homes, business, farms and schools in North and East London, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire and Essex for many years.

They are looking for a reliable and trustworthy engineer who can install automated gates, barriers, intercoms, GSM’s and other types of entry access control.

About the Role:

The job role is to install, wire up and programme the components - ie: control board, automation, access control and any peripheral products. To complete handover and demonstrate functionality with the customer.

Customer liaison and handover is also important, as well as an up-to-date knowledge of gate safety regulations. DHF trained an advantage.

Candidate Requirements:

They are ideally looking for an excellent "all-rounder" with experience of the groundwork side of the job (loops, cross drives, installing posts). They have a groundwork team but the ability to cover these tasks would be helpful, but not essential.

You will have several years’ experience and the following abilities:

• Confident to install BFT, DEA, VIDEX, PAXTON and similar products.
• Common sense approach.
• Problem solver.
• Great team player and to go the extra mile.
• Positive attitude and " can do" approach.
• Well presented.
• Ability to talk to customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
• Clean driving licence.
