Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum + bonus

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

Start Date: Our preference is that the successful candidate will start before August 2022 as projects are underway.

Whitwam AVI, an integrator of high-quality Audio Visual systems is recruiting for an AV Integration Design Engineer. Based in Winchester in the South of England, we cover the UK for both installation and service visits for commercial clients.
About the Role:

This role will provide design and development of integrated audio visual solutions to a range of corporate clients, venues and historic buildings. Creatively innovating and collaborating at the highest level to create efficient and leading AV integrated systems.

Working as a key member of the team, supporting pre sales with design and development of solutions and the operational processes of the installation teams, from design through to system completion and commissioning.

Within the role you will be documenting and overseeing the implementation, using agreed process and standards to achieve smooth delivery and work flow.

Working from our Winchester offices and workshops, this role will require some off site work. Candidates will need a UK valid driving licence and passport and free to work in the UK.

About you:

We are looking a candidate with:

• At least five years relevant AV Integration, installation experience.
• Suitable manufactures training and certification across a range of current integration technologies, including Dante Audio, QSC DSP design, Crestron Control Systems and NDI.
• In depth knowledge of IP networking, VLANS and switch configuration is required with fluent and capable abilities with Auto Cad , Stardraw and project management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Accurate and strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office and popular design software.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
