The role
As a Avionics Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be part of the team providing vital rotary aircraft maintenance services to our customers including the Police and Air Ambulance Services.

Day to day, you'll repair and maintain rotary aircraft avionic systems.

  • Repair / maintain aircraft avionic systems
  • Electrical continuity checks IAW electrical engineering drawings
  • Electrical wiring fault finding and rectification
  • Assist in line aircraft avionic system checks/tests and repairs

This role is full time and permanent at 40 hours per week and will be based at Staverton Airport. This role includes weekend work (2 weekends within a 28 day period) and runs of a rota-based system, this means you will have equal time on and off. This typically works as follows, 4 on, 4 off, 6 on and 6 off, 4 on. There is a requirement to travel to multiple locations as part of the role to repair and check aircrafts at our customer sites.

Essential experience of the Avionics Engineer:

  • Ability to repair / maintain aircraft avionic systems
  • Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings
  • A good working knowledge of the regulations, requirements and standards associated with electrical loom manufacture and installation
  • An understanding of avionics system integration

Qualifications for the Avionics Engineer:

  • Preference to hold a valid CAA part 66 B2 AML preferred with Ec-135 and H145 type ratings.
  • Clean valid UK driving licence
