The Opportunity
The advertised role is to join the new Jaguar Product Team and offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join a small, multi-skilled and agile Body team charged with creating and delivering the new Jaguar platform and the vehicle portfolio.
The role sitting within the Body Programme team has been created to lead a transformational shift in performance of the Vehicle Programme Delivery Process Chain and to play a key interface between the Vehicle Programme team, External Engineering Service Provider, JaguarLand Rover Product Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing functions who are critical supply partners to create and deliver the final completed product.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
You will lead the co-ordination and integration of new and re-used Body Electrical interfaces throughout the lifecycle. Activities that you will be responsible for conducting will be reporting on hardware/software maturity/delivery status vs declared statuses, managing JIRA workload for all Body Electrical items HW/SW, ensuring Body Electrical requirements are met by Engineering Service Provider, and overseeing components meeting the relevant legal regulations & RMDV requirements.
In addition, the role will provide Vehicle Programme support for:
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Good relevant experience of working in a Systems Engineering environment for Electrification propulsions systems - ideally within the Automotive Sector but could be from an aerospace background
Relevant experience of system definition, system architecture development, requirements specification, design/performance modelling, systems integration, system assessment and acceptance
