We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to become a valued member of our dynamic team within the UK Support Function (UKSF).
Salary: Circa £32,000 depending on experience
Location: Bolton (with flexibility to travel to other UK sites occasionally)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Working 2-3 days a week onsite with a flexible approach.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team

The opportunity:
You will undertake specific responsibilities to support, prioritise and coordinate effective and efficient technical administrative support to MBDA's Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Functions. You will need to exhibit a high level of organisation skills, great team ethic and the ability to interface with people at all levels both internally and externally, whilst embracing innovative ways of working.
The Role (this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities)
Will be based in our Bolton office with the flexibility to travel to other UK sites
Generate and maintain a close working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
Support Manufacturing functions to update procedures and processes
Manage and communicate updates to the Tooling Catalogue
Sole point of contact for all standard Tooling related queries through the Tooling shared mailbox
Raising and management of Capital Applications and Purchase requisitions when required
Point of contact for technical queries for Vendor Management Inventory (from both internal and external stakeholders)
Ensuring Manufacturing organisation is correct and kept up to date within the HR tool (Workday)
Create and maintain roles and responsibility register for all Manufacturing roles
Act as a Stamp Issuing Coordinator for authorisation stamps (utilising SAP to do this)
Maintain Manufacturing Function skills matrix within the DRM (Document Records Management) tool
Keep Manufacturing intranet sites updated and topical including networking sites within the Manufacturing Functions
To be a key member within the UK Support Function and participate in engagement activities
Sharing best practice and knowledge within the UK Support Function and offering guidance and training to team members
Participation and progress on UK Support Function personal development initiatives – to be accountable for own self-learning and development
