We have an exciting opportunity to join the UK Support Function. You will undertake specific responsibilities to support, prioritise and coordinate effective and efficient technical/functional administrative support to teams based at MBDA's Stevenage Site. You will need to exhibit a high level of organisation skills, great team ethic and the ability to interface with people at all levels both internally and externally, whilst embracing innovative ways of working. Job Title: Business Support Specialist - Manufacturing South

Salary: Circa £32,000

Location: Stevenage

Dynamic (hybrid) working pattern: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working with 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home.

Security clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British Citizenship

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a Minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel security standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

• Generate and maintain a close working relationship with internal and external stakeholders (including our key customers)
• Facilitate the Registering of Task Instructions (TI) into Stevenage including
  • Conduct TI kick off meetings and disseminate the work to the required functions
  • Monitor progress through and communicate updates on progress against each TI
  • Report on Time and Cost of TI's so they are forecasted and delivered within the scope boundaries
• To support and provide drive and continuity to continuous improvements in-line with EN9100
• To support with drafting and releasing local operating procedures and processes
• To support with the Workload Forecast resourcing activities
• To continuously engage with MBDA's Facilities Management and Security Services and impetus tasks and actions
• Collation, distribution and management of various meetings and reviews - outputs / actions / observations
• Chase and follow-up on concession sign-off in order to keep production flowing
• To utilise and provide local expertise in key specialist IT based applications and databases and provide technical support/training to the Stevenage engineering and operation teams
• To be a key member within the UK Support Function and participate in engagement activities
• Sharing best practice and knowledge within the UK Support Function and offering guidance and training to team members
• Participation and progress on UK Support Function personal development initiatives – to be accountable for own self-learning and development
• Discretion and confidentiality to be maintained
• Any other adhoc technical administration duties
