SJB Contracting Ltd is seeking an experienced Carpentry Site Supervisor to lead and oversee a high-profile project in North West London. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled supervisor with a strong background in carpentry and project management.

About the role:

• Site Management: Extensive experience in managing carpentry projects is essential. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site operations.
• Technical Expertise: Ability to interpret detailed site drawings and effectively communicate this information to the carpentry team.
• Team Leadership: Manage and supervise the on-site workforce, driving productivity while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Project Coordination: Plan and coordinate direct labour while managing project timelines to ensure completion on time and within budget.
• Reporting: Regularly update project timelines, prepare performance and status reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Team Collaboration: Foster a positive team spirit by building strong working relationships with all site personnel.
• Quality and Safety: Adhere to strict standards for quality control, health and safety, welfare, and environmental procedures. Attend required training and induction courses to stay informed on all relevant systems and protocols.
• Professionalism: Demonstrate dedication, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic, setting a high standard for the entire team.
• You will be provided with a phone and laptop

About you:

• Certifications: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and Gold/Black CSCS Card are mandatory
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in carpentry and site management.
