WHAT TO EXPECT
The is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with a background in delivery of cross-functional projects with multi-stakeholder requirements. The primary purpose of the role within Research is to manage the planning and delivery of collaborative R&D projects working cross-functionally, with partner organisations in industry and academia, and leveraging government funding to accelerate and scale up R&D projects.
This role will contribute to the development of collaborative R&D strategies to support Research Strategy / Technology Roadmap requirements and support the establishment and delivery of new funded collaborations and projects. The strategy and resulting projects directly support REIMAGINE and REFOCUS priorities, e.g Electrification, Connected and Autonomous Mobility, Sustainability and Hydrogen.
This opportunity is instrumental for driving Jaguar land Rover to become one of the most innovative companies in the world while working at the intersection of government, academia, start-ups and internal stakeholders to bring to life cutting-edge deep technologies. The successful candidate will be getting exposure to senior leaders both internally and externally and will have an impact on UK innovation and research as a whole.
The Research team is based in the state-of-the-art National Automotive Innovation Centre (NAIC) at the University of Warwick, where the teams are delivering innovation for use on future Jaguar Land Rover products. This role is based in the Collaborative R&D team and will work alongside research project delivery teams at NAIC and across other sites.
