About us:

We have a great opportunity for an experienced laundry installation engineer to join our team.

We are the major care home service provider across the UK for laundry equipment and we pride ourselves on providing a first class, professional service ensuring that our equipment is installed and commissioned to the highest standards and to tight deadlines.

We will be recruiting a trainee/labourer to work alongside this engineer.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Install commercial gas and electrical laundry equipment including washer/extractors, dryers and ironers.
• Commission installed equipment including conducting gas safety tests and air make-up calculations.
• Conduct thorough site surveys, producing accurate data and identifying any remedial works required.
• Implementation of some corrective remedial work tasks.
• Laundry and small commercial pressure vessel equipment PPM visits with ducting inspection and cleaning.
• Complying with measures to ensure health and safety in the workplace and environmental measures.
• Ensure the performance and success of the execution of the project by managing all available resources.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

• Time served mechanical Engineer.
• industrial Gas safe registered (conversion training from domestic can be offered)
• Experience in managing bespoke laundry or catering installations
• Boiler & pressure systems qualified
• Legionella qualified responsible person

Hours of Work:

45 hours per week but flexibility will be required to meet the demands of the role.
