Community Liaison Advisor - Rail

About the job

We are currently dealing a major Rail Engineering contractor who would be looking to expand their team in Leicester by recruiting a Community Liaison Advisor. This has aspects of public and front facing, so effective communication skills are key. As the community liaison advisor typical job duties can include, but not limited to:
 

• Investigate and respond to complaints received regarding project works.
• Log all complaints-on-Complaints Log
• Liaise with client and Environment and Sustainability Manager regarding complaints
• Arrange for works notification letters to be sent to relevant lineside residents
• Keep log of all notification letters sent out
• Support Environment and Sustainability Manager with arranging Community Engagement Events 
• Provide a full administration support service to the Safety & Compliance team ensuring the maintenance of confidential documentation.

• Strong understanding of the Railway industry.
• Experienced using databases and IT.
• Strong level of IT competency specifically Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Confident and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
