Job Title: Conference and Event Production AV Technician for Designed. Event Production, part of the Whitwam Group

Location: Winchester

Salary: £26,000 - £36,000 per year + bonus

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Based from our Winchester offices and warehouse, we plan and prepare for events for clients far and wide, working closely with our in-house video production and AV installation teams.

This role is to be part of a successful company with a long history in event production. Using our well managed stock equipment and sub hired units, we travel across the UK and Europe producing live and virtual corporate events of all scales.

About the Role

We are looking for AV technicians with strong experience and proven history in corporate conference and event production. Practical experience and technical insight into the setting up and operation of; audio systems, projection and digital screen control, video switchers, streaming, lighting, staging, scenic elements, safe working practice and attention to detail are all required. We would like the successful candidate to have a strong focus on one of the many disciplines but a general working knowledge across all. 

Key Duties: 

• Contribute to technical set up and operation of AV systems 
• Direct and manage freelancer team to operate the systems with you
• Problem solve both technically and practically

You must have/be able to: 

• work independently
• work as part of a team
• work well under pressure
• a passion for live events
• a driving license (essential) 
• ability to drive vans (desirable)
