What To Expect

This role is within the body Interiors working as a developer with responsibilities to develop engineering insights into a variety of body engineering disciplines across a number of squads within body and chassis engineering. Work will be across the various body disciplines, but with a predominate lean towards electromechanical systems.

The role will focus on working with lead engineers to develop the objective of the engineering insight, then leading the development of the insights using various data sources from around the business and data lakes to meet the objectives. The objectives may range from customer requirement development and verification, through system verification and into component and design robustness.

What You Will Need

You will be expected to deliver engineering insights to defined objectives to deliver data driven decisions and direction. You will develop engineering insight process to improve robustness and breadth of insights that maybe offered to the engineering community. You will drive knowledge increase and transfer within the analytics and chassis/body engineering group as well as promoting data driven thinking and approach to engineering direction and decisions.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Previous experience of working in the resolution of technical issues, using basic methodical problem-solving principles and engineering data
• A good working knowledge of product creation & delivery
• Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred
