As a data modeller, you’ll be responsible for the modelling of design solutions from inputs including but not limited to CAS, ICEM and studio engineering data, releasing of parts into various manufacturing routes within DMO team and externally across all Jaguar and Land Rover products.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the creation of package data for donor parts (production). You will explore alternatives to target engineering parts (if unavailable) within the Jaguar Land Rover available parts Bill of Materials (BOM). You’ll be accountable for tracking and monitoring resolutions of all geometric issues within a project, and you’ll hold review with key stakeholders to confirm correct data is used and any holes in data filled. You’ll be responsible for the design of feasible model solutions to produce parts for manufacture, and you’ll undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
 To perform this role you ‘ll need previous experience in engineering design solutions to complex requests, previous model design experience (Show cars, CDRM’s, C&M bucks), and you’ll need a working knowledge of Design Engineering. You’ll need good knowledge of model design, and you will possess excellent organisational and business interface skills. Customer first mind-set is required, and degree qualified or equivalent experience is preferred. You’ll be Catia V5 and Teamcenter proficient and you’ll have a strong knowledge of engineering BOM.
