The role
As a Defect Reports and Management Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. The Type 31 Project will deliver five general purpose adaptable, global, and exportable frigates to the Royal Navy designed to undertake a range of operational tasks from maritime security, humanitarian aid and disaster relief and defence engagement to operation in a high threat environment. The Project is the pathfinder and cornerstone of the National Shipbuilding Strategy and will be delivered in an innovative manner at pace with all 5 ships to be in-service by Dec 2028
Day to day, you'll develop and maintain the T31 DRACAS, producing reports and recommendations in accordance with the CDRL or as required by T31 Head of Supportability, as well as:
This role is full-time, and based at Bristol Business Park, Stoke Gifford, with a hybrid working arrangement of three days per week working from home. Please note, this role could also be based at Devonport Royal Dockyard, Plymouth, if preferred.
