An excellent opportunity for an Experienced Design Engineer to join a well-established company based in Bognor Regis.

The Company:

They design and manufactures bespoke precision-controlled fridges, freezers and incubators from design concept and prototype stage, through to full production and despatch. They are capable of building products that can reliably maintain any temperature between -50ºC and +85ºC.

The company is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join their expanding design and technical team. This Design Engineer role would suit individuals who have robust AutoCAD skills, coming to the end of their degree and wanting to develop hands on engineering skills in a busy manufacturing environment.

About the Role:

• Support production and optimise the design, fabrication, foaming, and general assembly areas and processes for our products.
• Assist in the design of new refrigeration products.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Value engineering to reduce costs.
• Continual improvement of our products and processes.
• Producing drawings of sheet metal components and assemblies using AutoCAD software. 
• Product Design, Testing and Development. 
• Documenting changes to drawings and products in accordance with their ISO9001 system.
• Identifying and assessing new components for suitability. 
• Ability to work without supervision and able to meet production timescales.   
• Any other tasks as required by Management.

Candidate Requirements:

• Robust knowledge of AutoCAD design software.
• Understanding of refrigeration principles.

Working Hours: 38 hours per week 08:00-17:00 Mon-Thurs, 08:00-14:00 Friday.

This is a full-time position and in return the company is offering a Competitive Salary of £20,000 - £26,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience.
