Our vision is to leverage the incredible potential of technology to build vehicles that not only offer a premium, all-encompassing digital experience, but that also make our customers lives better.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Join our team of next generation thinkers! As a leader in Product Engineering within the Advanced Electric Drive Unit Group, you will be responsible for a group of Product Owners, who lead the technical product delivery.

The squads, under this Group PO, are formed by a team of highly capable engineers who define System Attributes, Thermal and Hydraulic Functions for the entire EDU. This involves developing the next generation EDU targets in conjunction with the Advanced Powerpack domain teams and developing the EDU with the subsystem teams. Additionally, you will be accountable for EDU level CAE DVP and physical DVP coordination of the new generation EDUs.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

As an EDU Systems Group Product Owner, you will be leading a small group of product owners, including their pastoral care and growth, driving technical integration and technical delivery – e.g. major issues, obstacles, build, quality, and ensuring lessons learnt are captured and placed on SME/TS backlog. You will be resolving escalated obstacles, supporting skill matrix gaps resolution with Chapter Heads/Leads, and ensuring technical and problem-solving knowledge growth within the group

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
• Experience and knowledge in the field of EDUs System and Attributes/Thermal or related area of Propulsion.
• In-depth knowledge and technical expertise in all areas of EP EDU Performance & Efficiency but specialising in system interactions and optimisation – this must include competitor’s intelligence, optimisation and design for Performance & Efficiency, testing for Performance & Efficiency and in-vehicle strategies.
• Analytical skills including the ability to conduct complex research into new technologies and tools.
• Expert in the area of Powertrain Performance & Efficiency – focusing on BEV (EDUs, Inverters, emachines, transmissions, thermal management for EDUs)
• Experience in EDU system validation in a prototype environment.

SO WHY US?
Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan, private medical cover and performance related bonus scheme. As a manager, you’ll also be able to select one of our luxury premium vehicles to lease at a fraction of the cost. All this and more makes JLR the perfect place to continue your journey.
