About Us:

Airtech manufacture a full range of domestic mechanical ventilation systems specifically designed for the Social Housing and Local Authority market. We install bathroom and kitchen fans, provide mould treatment/ eradication, and Radon testing.

About the role:

Are you a hands-on leader with electrical expertise and a passion for people development? We're looking for an Operations Manager (North/Midlands) to lead our team in delivering high-quality services to the social housing sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of engineers, surveyors and technician to deliver safe, productive, high-quality installations
  • Conducting site visits across the UK to coach, support, and audit completed work
  • Acting as the go-to electrical expert for your team and stakeholders
  • Managing day-to-day operations and maintaining a positive, high-performing team culture
  • Supporting recruitment, training, and ongoing development of engineers
  • Building strong relationships with clients, tenants, and colleagues
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and company standards

About you:

  • 2+ years' experience managing a field-based team
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in similar electrical role
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • C&G 5357 Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification
  • Content travelling throughout the UK on a regular basis, and flexible to working additional hours when required
  • A sound understanding of HR processes and conflict management
  • Great organisational skills - you will be managing stock and coordinating many moving parts
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Ability to coach and develop your team
  • Ventilation knowledge/experience, desirable
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety and Electrical Safe Systems of Work
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • First Aid in the Workplace
