Job Title: Electrician's Mate

Location: Southampton (Candidates should live in Southampton)

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Job type: Full Time, Permanent

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, permanent, overtime available, paid travelling

Key Responsibilities:

• Share the driving to and from sites with the Commissioning Engineer
• Pass the Commissioning Engineer tools and equipment as required
• Observing and feeding back results to the Commissioning Engineer
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
• Use hand and power tools
• Assist in the preparation and clean up of site/work area
• Comply with all safety and site regulations
• Perform other duties as reasonably required

Candidate's Requirements:

Essential Requirements

• Legal right to work in the UK
• Live in Southampton
• Full UK Driving Licence, maximum 6 points
• Flexibility to stay away from home for short periods of time occasionally
• Able to follow instructions and feedback accurate results
• Able to work in confined spaces or at height
• Able to walk up and down 10 flights of stairs, multiple times of day

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience of working as an Electrician's Mate
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety at work
• Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check
• ECS or CSCS card holder
