Embedded Software Engineer

As a result of new contracts, the Raytheon UK engineering team is rapidly growing and therefore we are looking for a motivated Embedded Software Engineer with a background in embedded software, system architecture, designing to a set of requirements and with a keen interest in weapon systems. 

The successful candidate will be part of the growing Defence Business in Raytheon UK, delivering engineering expertise across a wide range of projects to both military and civil customers worldwide. The Embedded Software Engineer will support the Weapons Team across various programmes and will: Create and manage architectures for embedded software; Understand, decompose and verify embedded software requirements; Define and perform unit level and sub system level testing for embedded software; Work alongside our embedded system, firmware and electronic design engineers; Generate supporting design documentation and perform regular technical reviews.
