Humberside Engineering Training Association HETA is a rapidly expanding Group Training Association (GTA) with training centres in Hull, Stallingborough and Scunthorpe. HETA provide engineering apprentices and adult skills training for hundreds of companies in Yorkshire and Humberside.

We are looking for an individual with suitable ability and background who feels they have the right skills and attributes to pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation of engineers.

This position involves delivering a range of engineering subjects at Level 4 and Level 5 as part of the HETA Engineering HNC/HND programme in Hull.

Depending on skill set, subjects to be taught include:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Organisational Efficiency & Improvements 
  • Professional Engineering Management 

There will also be a requirement to facilitate and assess engineering project & research project work at Level 5.

The successful Candidate will:

  • Be degree qualified
  • Have at least five years relevant industry experience
  • Have excellent technical skills,
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills

A teaching qualification is desirable but full training would be given to the right applicant.

A full driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential as some travelling between HETA sites may be necessary.
