Location: Pickering (being based from other sites is a possibility)

Xandor is an international company supplying both the automotive and commercial vehicle industry. We design and develop high quality plastic components, assemblies and systems, including exterior and interior (painted and unpainted) and functional black parts. We also supply equipment for air conditioning systems, power assisted steering, active ride suspension and oil cooling.

About the role:

  • To refine and lead the implementation of the Group Sustainability Strategy
  • Drive communication initiatives (internal and external) to update progress on the above
  • Complete returns as required by statute for such as Energy Saving Opportunities Scheme (ESOS), Streamline Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) and Plastic Packaging Tax, Conflict Minerals etc
  • Update external websites to demonstrate compliance to legal requirements
  • Lead and develop environmental improvement initiatives across all plants
  • Audit permit compliance in the plants
  • Conduct Cross site internal audits
  • Maintain the impacts and aspects register
  • Support audits for ISO 50001 & 14001
  • Provide support for CSR initiatives
  • Monthly reporting of environmental KPI's
  • Support local sites as required

About you:

  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a real commitment to delivering XANDOR`s Sustainability Strategy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic Project Management skills
  • Flexible approach, as travel (including overseas) to other sites will be required
  • Prepared to learn, develop and gain new skills
  • Prepared to "muck in" and support local sites as required
  • Position would ideally suit a Science or Environmental Studies graduate, but further training and development will be given to the right applicant
