The role
As a Facilities Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Maintaining a safe, legally compliant, and functional built environment by the effective delivery of Planned Maintenance, Reactive and remedial works.

Day-to-day, you'll support the hands-on delivery of M&E maintenance support of a range of commercial and hangar buildings, as well as:

  • Ensure statutory compliance and high levels of system reliability
  • Host and manage the visiting supply chain and review method and risk assessments
  • Administrate the Babcock safe system of work including the issue of permits to work
  • Create/produce risk and method statements for in-house reactive and planned tasks
  • Maintain building compliance records using the Babcock CAFM System (TABS)

This role is full time, 40 hours per week and is based on site at RAF Cranwell, Sleaford.

Essential experience of the Facilities Engineer

  • Previous experience in facilities management/engineering
  • Safety knowledge
  • IT literate

Qualifications for the Facilities Engineer

  • Qualification in building maintenance services (or HVAC, plumbing, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering)

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
