The Role

As a facilities maintenance supervisor you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will work with the Maintenance Manager to ensure the facility infrastructure is properly maintained and fit for purpose.

Day to day, you'll support the effective delivery of KPI outputs for the contract.

* Support and mentor 3 staff members
* Support in the delivery of maintenance work, ensuring effective deployment of contractors and staff resource.
* Manage activities to deliver improvement of KPI's, using support from the maintenance manager.
* Lead in quality assurance to verify that all works conform to all relevant specification, legislation and customer requirement

Essential experience

* Experience of working within a busy maintenance office
* Knowledge and understanding of the built environment
* Ability to produce and evaluate RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
* Experience using SAP or similar package
* Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages

This role is onsite, 37 hours per week

Qualifications for the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

* Trade or People Management Qualification NVQ, City & Guilds qualification
* Ideally health & safety qualification
* Must have full UK driving licence

The successful candidate must be able to achieve Baseline Personal Security Standard (BPSS) security clearance level for this role.
