The opportunity:
An exciting role has become available within our successful and growing Facilities Management team, to take the lead in coordinating / supporting our onsite Computer Aided Facilities Management Tool (CAFM) and help take us to the next level.
Our system is the catalyst in all we do within FM across our UK portfolio, so the role is essential in our success. You would be the main daily interface from across the business and that of our end users, internal and external. Dealing with system related queries and or amendments / changes to improve service delivery. As we are responsible internally for the configuration to the system, you will have the ability to implement improvements in line with our future strategy and really help drive success. Responsible for all report building utilising the data you interrogate and manage within the system. There will also be a requirement to build and deliver internal training to end users on current and new functionality as we implement changes.
Ideally you will have previous experience in CAFM tools utilisation from a configuration point of view not an end user of a system, preferably Planon, but not essential. Attention to detail is vital, as the system requires its data integrity challenged daily. The role requires someone with excellent written skills and extremely competent in Excel and report building. We want somebody with an inquisitive mind-set, wants to make improvements not just changes and is not afraid to challenge. The team you will be joining is responsible for the Financial and Commercial activities of Facilities Management at MBDA UK and is made up of 8 team members that further supports the wider FM team of circa 30. We are a fun and friendly team who cares not only for what we do and for what we want to achieve but cares and supports each other, and we have a great team collaboration approach.
Other responsibilities within the role will be, updating information within the CAFM tool, building relationships with end users to ensure service delivery, building new reports to improve data driven strategies, fault finding within the system, internal auditing of our processes and procedures, creation of user guides and tools for the utilisation of the system.
