Job Title: Facilities Project Governance Manager

Salary: Circa £60,000 depending on experience 

Location: Stevenage/Bolton/Bristol (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

An exciting new role for a Project Control Manager has been created, responsible for providing co-ordinated project process governance, project planning, control and reporting for all projects being managed by Facilities Management (FM) projects teams, including major site investment projects delivering company capability across the UK. You will provide central governance and reporting from project initiations to final handovers, across projects managed by regional project managers, delivering multiple individual projects ranging from £50k-£100M+.

You will be the lead in managing project delivery processes, owning and maintaining the integrated master project programme, you will chair project progress meetings and present progress reporting in person to senior levels of MBDA UK leadership.

What we're looking for from you:

  • An organised, proactive and robust project governance lead
  • Comprehensive understanding of project programming and methodologies
  • Ability to present programmes and interdependencies in a simple and effective way to senior internal stakeholders in order to maintain understanding and confidence (using Primavera or MS Project).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including an ability to set expectations and balance conflicting demands.
  • Someone that can lead the coordination multiple project team inputs in accordance with process.
  • The skills to drive and motivate teams to achieve programme, cost and quality requirements.
  • You will need the ability to interrogate and interpret project prioritisation and flex plans accordingly.
  • The people management skills to provide line management to a small number of direct reports.
  • Knowledge of RIBA project stages.
  • You must have strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive and professional approach, even when under pressure.
