Job Title: Senior Facilities Project Manager – UK & International

Salary: Circa £65k plus bonus depending on experience 

Location: Primary home site can be Stevenage, Bolton or Bristol.

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site depending on work requirements.

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Facilities projects team. The successful applicant will manage and deliver facilities based projects in the UK and overseas in both office and industrial environments. You will lead internal and contractor teams from project brief, design and through to delivery into operation. Projects will range from fit-outs and new builds to major infrastructure upgrade. The role holder will control cost, quality and performance on behalf of the UK business on projects ranging from around £100k to many millions of pounds.

You will need to be an experienced Project Manager within the Facilities Management or Construction industry, ideally with overseas experience. You will be a flexible traveller able to manage a mix of UK and international projects.

You will be joining a busy, committed and friendly Facilities Management team delivering to a successful and forward thinking Defence Company.

What we're looking for from you:

  • Experienced and very organised Project Manager (with overseas experience)
  • Willing and able to travel across UK and worldwide as required.
  • Strong communication and management skills and able to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience of contractor management and project delivery.
  • Relevant qualification in Project Management, Construction or Facilities Management (or extensive practical experience)
  • Working knowledge of statutory regulations of key legislation relevant to the role, relating to Health & Safety, CDM (Construction, Design and Management) regulations and Defence security requirements.
