Job Title: Field Based Automotive Engineer / Assessor

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience

About us:

Automotive Consulting Engineers opened for business in November 1993 to provide inspection services to Mechanical Breakdown Insurance Companies in the UK and since then has spread to include Leasing Companies and Legal Advisers. We are now one of the leading Independent Consulting Motor Engineers in the UK dealing with most, if not all, vehicle examination needs and requirements.

About the Role:

We are looking for a self motivating, organised, mechanical engineer to travel across the Greater London and the surrounding area to carry out vehicle inspections, as required.

Please note that travel will be required and therefore a valid driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities will include the following:

• Daily customer vehicle inspections across the location
• Vehicle test drives
• Route planning
• Administration and communication management
• Reporting, bookings etc.

About you:

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years vehicle mechanic workshop experience
• IMI registered preferably
• Full clean driving license
• Computer literate
• Strong communicator in English
• Excellent people skills
