Location: Essex up to Cambridge

Salary: £34,476 - £36,500 plus Overtime.

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

The Position:

CraneServe Limited continues to expand its client base across the UK and we are looking for Electrical / Mechanical engineers to join our business from Essex up to Cambridge.

The range of services offered to our customer bases is varied and you would be expected to be involved in the maintenance, repair, modernisation, installation and inspection of a range of lifting equipment including Overhead, Goliath and Jib Cranes, Electric Wire Rope, Electric Chain and manual hoists, Railway lifting Jacks and associated lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Heavy mechanical servicing, maintenance and breakdowns of company equipment
• Visiting client sites to make sure all equipment is working to Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding
• Working with Overhead, Goliath and Jib Cranes, Electric Wire Rope, Electric Chain and manual hoists, Railway lifting Jacks and associated lifting equipment

The Candidate:

• Prior experience in the overhead crane / hoist industry is desirable;
• Ideally apprentice - trained or equivalent and fully conversant with electrical control systems;
• Hold a full driving licence;
• Good communication skills enabling efficient, effective communication with our customers and colleagues both orally and in writing;
• Physically fit and able to work at heights;
• Willingness to work additional hours during the week and at weekends,
• Proven safety record.
