The Position:

CraneServe continues to expand its client base across the UK and we are looking for Electrical / Mechanical engineers to join our business.

The range of services offered to our customer bases is varied and you would be expected to be involved in the maintenance, repair, modernisation, installation and inspection of a range of lifting equipment including Overhead, Goliath and Jib Cranes, Electric Wire Rope, Electric Chain and manual hoists, Railway lifting Jacks and associated lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Heavy mechanical servicing, maintenance and breakdowns of company equipment
• Visiting client sites to make sure all equipment is working to Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding
• Working with Overhead, Goliath and Jib Cranes, Electric Wire Rope, Electric Chain and manual hoists, Railway lifting Jacks and associated lifting equipment

The Candidate:

• Background as a mobile crane engineer / field service technician or similar experience with crane machinery
• Experience working with electrical control systems
• Full UK driving licence
• Good verbal and written communication skills to allow effective communication with customers and colleagues
• Physically fit and able to work at heights
• Willingness to work additional hours during the week and at weekends
• Proven safety record
