For 25 years we've been manufacturing and installing electronic gates for residential and commercial clients. Owing to our superior craftsmanship and attention to detail the business is thriving as such we are hiring an experienced Field Gate Engineer to cover London and surrounding areas.

Role Info:

Field Gate Engineer - Electro-Mechanical / Automation
Enfield HQ covering London and surrounding areas
Up to £40,000 Salary Package
Plus Van, Phone, pension & benefits

Specific Product training will be given

The ideal candidate must have and be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge and experience of working on the installation of automatic, tracked sliding, cantilever, swing and bi-fold gates, as well as automatic parking barriers. You must also be conversant with entry/exit control systems, audio and video intercom systems and other automation control systems.

The remuneration package will reflect the level of expertise. To achieve the upper end of the package you will have proven electrical and mechanical skills together with an understanding of the health and safety aspect of automatic gates (BSEN and CE regulations and requirements), as well as carry out force testing and record the results correctly to form part of O&M manuals.

About You:

+ The suitable candidate must have knowledge and experience in the installation repair and maintenance of 230v and 24v automation systems.
+ Competent in fault finding/ repairs on gate operators such as NICE, CAME, BFT, FAAC, SEA, etc.
+ Will be able to competently use arc welders, grinding and cutting tools on site to carry out fabrication and installation tasks.
+ Customer service focused and able to liaise confidently with customers.
