A family business, established in 1976, now with the second generation at the helm. They are proud to have many of Derbyshire's best-known brands as their customers, from stately homes to cutting edge tech companies. They are a small, friendly, but ambitious business, with exacting standards.

If this sound like a good match for you, we'd be delighted to hear from you.

About The Role:

You will be carrying out the installation, servicing and maintenance of fire alarms and emergency lighting systems. You'll work both individually and as part of a team on larger sites.

With work mostly based in Derbyshire and neighbouring counties, long distance travel will be minimal. However candidates must be prepared to travel further away if required as per business needs.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Training courses with FIA, BAFE, ICEL, BFC, IFEDA and/or recognised electrical qualifications and experience would be an advantage.
  • A working knowledge of Advanced, Kentec, Morley, C-Tec, EDA and Fike Fire Panels and Hochiki, Apollo, Fike, Ekho and Reach devices would be beneficial.
  • You’ll need first rate literacy and written communication skills, as the digital documentation you produce will certificate life safety systems.
  • Responsible, diligent and well-presented, with excellent time keeping and manners.
  • The job will involve working on ladders, step ladders and mobile scaffold towers.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.

Role Benefits:

  • 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays.
  • Company van, tools, test equipment, fuel card, PPE and uniform.
  • Customers are local, so there's NOT lots of travelling away or overnight stays.
  • You can "opt in" for Call Out cover – with extra salary for and overtime for any call outs you attend door-to-door. However, there is no obligation to do Call Outs.

Company Benefits:

  • Bereavement leave.
  • Company van.
  • Work place pension.
  • Free or subsidised travel.
