About the role:

What if we could offer you the chance to work as part of a team of like-minded Engineers on the next generation of Cyber Security and Electronic Defence technology?

At L3Harris, in our Intelligence & Cyber International (ICI) division, we work closely with UK Government and Security Agencies to develop and build cutting edge solutions to combat the threats faced by the public and private sectors on a daily basis. These threats grow more sophisticated every day and we have to stay one step ahead by continually evolving our tech to ‘prevent the event’.

A position at L3Harris will mean getting to innovate, architect, develop and see ideas become a reality over the full lifecycle of a product. In addition, there are opportunities to work on fully funded bleeding edge research and development projects – where things really get interesting!

We are looking for FPGA Engineers of various levels (Entry to Principal) to join our engineering team developing the next generation of Cyber Security and Electronic Warfare products. You will be an integral part of a development team involved in the research, design, development and verification and there will be opportunities to work on the latest evolution of our award winning flagship CATAPAN product family, or on our Corvus development which is changing the face of Electronic Countermeasures in the Defence sector.

Our primary ICI sites are in Gloucestershire and Hampshire and Engineers make up over 50% of our workforce. If this sounds like your type of thing then we are keen to hear from you!

  • Knowledge of DSP algorithm design
  • Experience of FPGA implementation of modern communications systems
