Job Title: Generator Service Engineer

Salary: Competitive

Job type: Full Time - Permanent. 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day. Flexibility in working hours is require, to include occasional night shifts and weekend working. A flexible approach to working hours is required and it is mandatory to join our 24-hour call out rota.

The Role/Duties & Requirements:

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated team player who is customer focused and committed to providing excellent customer service and support.

You will have in-depth knowledge of generator electrical and mechanical systems and be experienced in working in the field, away from base in Scarborough.

You will have experience working both individually without supervision and within a team environment on customer sites.

You will deliver routine generator maintenance (PPM), electrical and mechanical remedial works, electrical and mechanical fault finding, generator load bank testing, and site surveys.

Experience Required/Candidate Requirements:

• You will have an NVQ Engineering Maintenance level two (or equivalent) and manufacturers training and advantage.
• 2+ years working in a similar role in the service industry.
• Preferable a solid understanding of diesel generators.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Team player as well as ability to work on own initiative.
