Hardware Engineer

About the job

As one of our Hardware Engineers, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and validation of our next-generation hardware products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, industrial designers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype hardware solutions that meet performance, power, and cost requirements.
• Carry out electronic circuit design using ECAD software; this includes simulation followed by rigorous laboratory testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware specifications and contribute to the overall product roadmap.
• Perform schematic design and PCB layout for various hardware modules and systems.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware components, identifying and addressing any issues.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to select appropriate components and ensure timely procurement.
• Collaborate in the debugging and troubleshooting of hardware and system-level issues.
• Keep up to date with the latest advancements in hardware technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in hardware design, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
• Proficiency in using EDA tools such as Orcad/Allegro or similar 
• Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles.
• Experience with microcontrollers, FPGAs, and other embedded systems.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC/EMI considerations.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C, Python, or VHDL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
