The opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen for the Head of Ground Trials role within the CAMM Family Trials Team. Reporting to the Chief Systems Proving Engineer (CSPE) the role will manage the ground trials activities required across the CAMM Family MS programmes.
In the near term, the role focuses on the delivery of the on-going live / inert environmental qualification programmes. These are parallel programmes of combined live / inert functional testing conducted at two different test facilities in the UK and in Europe.
This will involve leadership of the multifunctional project team to deliver the programmes of work.
As the wider CAMM Family programme of activities progresses, there will be further programmes of work involving live and inert testing in the environmental and EMC domains.
The role will require a dynamic, autonomous and proactive individual with good technical knowledge, experience in team leadership / management and the ability to influence and engage at multiple different levels with the different internal stakeholders, external test houses and various seniors within the programme and wider business with a vested interest in the critical qualification programme activities.

What we're looking for from you:
This role would suit an engineer with practical experience in trials conduct and team leadership looking to build on existing (or to develop new) people management skills with a team of engineers and also the wider group of project teams that support the delivery of trials hardware and trials conduct.
A keen eye for integrity and improvement opportunities would be an advantage as we look to achieve the live and inert qualification of CAMM Family products.
