Base Salary: £68,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience)

This role will be based full time in Poland!!!!

An opportunity has arisen within our Customer Support & Services organisation for a strong competent leader to deliver a key weapon capability to the Polish Armed Forces.

As part of MBDA's business-winning success in Poland, and the establishment of MBDA Polska as an operational entity, we require this role to take a key leadership position in the setup of MBDA's Poland operations, with ongoing responsibility to ensure these operations deliver excellent service to our customers. To do so, they will work closely with HR to recruit & integrate a multinational team – UK, IT and POL staff. They will need to establish processes to enable service delivery while forming relationships across our business and with our customers. They will be responsible for logistics, training and field support delivery in Poland, with significant LDs related to non-performance, location of service provision across Poland and being responsible for the significant upskilling of Polish Armed Forces personnel.

What we're looking for
  • A broad based engineering background, a degree level qualification in a numerate / technical subject would be beneficial, with substantial knowledge and experience support of Complex Systems 
  • Understanding of the technical and logistics requirements of different customers and awareness of their cultures
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to influence and negotiate with partners across the business
  • Prioritisation and ability to deal with multiple issues on a regular basis
  • Strategic planning of support work, from supply chain through to customer delivery
