Using your expertise, you will provide guidance on functional safety, electrical equipment standards and cyber security for industrial automation systems.

You will also contribute to national safety improvements by advising government departments, industry bodies and professional associations, while promoting better health and safety practices through conferences and forums.

Additionally, you will:

- Produce technical inspection reports and take enforcement action to address significant risks
- Act as a specialist investigator or expert witness in tribunals, inquests, and legal proceedings

Please note, enrolment in the Specialist Training Programme (STP) is a legal requirement that you will be required to study for and successfully complete.
