Salary: £55,000-£62,000 depending on experience

The opportunity:

HR Business Partner / Senior HR Business Partner

We are seeking an HR BP / Senior HR BP to partner with key business support functions in the UK and internationally, with the overarching aim to help them deliver their business plan objectives.  

You will be responsible for all HR activities in your specific area, affecting the UK and internationally where applicable. You'll be working closely with Business Leaders across varying areas of the MBDA Group, with the overarching aim to deliver their business plan objectives. This will require the implementation and refinement of strategies and driving and facilitating improvement programmes.

You will be be responsible for the management and development of an HR Advisor in the HR Business Support team.

What we're looking for

  • You'll be a qualified HR professional with experience of leading on key programmes. You'll be supporting HR and business strategy at a senior level and have proven experience in coaching management teams to drive and facilitate improvement programmes.
  • We are looking for someone with the ability to build strong relationships and demonstrate credibility with our senior leadership team and employees, ultimately to challenge and influence the business to provide a better solution or outcome. Your abilities to adapt and flex to the differing HR needs of multiple business areas will be key attributes.
  • You'll ensure national/international HR calendar activities are delivered within time and to quality which will include pay reviews, performance assessments, training requirements, talent identification development etc and act as the key focal point for managing HR procedural activity within your area.
  • In having worked in senior generalist positions previously ideally with an international aspect, you will also come with a strong knowledge and experience in: employment law and its application in a business context, data analysis, enthusiasm for diversity and inclusion, strong consultancy and problem solving skills at operational and strategic levels.
  • If you happen to also have language fluency in French, Italian or German, that would be great, but not essential. Some travel will be necessary.
  • Ultimately you will have a passion for working with people and working beyond the confines of ‘your job'.
