Max Wright Limited are a bespoke Electrical Engineering & Electrical Installation company that specialise in Automation. The Company has over 60 years experience serving our clients in Industry.

We specialise in Low Voltage Switchboards, Systems Integration, Motor Control Centres and installations built and installed to customers unique specifications.

The role: 

We are currently looking for software / automation engineers with programming and commissioning experience in the control panel industry.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Carry out site surveys and liaise closely with the client to ensure their needs are understood and met
• See projects through from conception and initial design through to coding, testing and commissioning of PLC / SCADA / HMI's
• Work with our team to deliver projects efficiently, providing the highest levels of product and service possible
• Proactively drive continuous improvement, contributing towards new innovative products and methods of working.

The Candidate: 

Ideally familiar with Rockwell and Mitsubishi PLCs, you will be required to run your own projects, working closely with our experienced electrical engineers on design, functionality, testing and commissioning.

In order to cope with the growing demand, we are looking to expand our team, adding more experience and quality, enabling us to progress together as a company.

Whilst initially being based at our Hertfordshire works, as you progress you will be required to attend site and client meetings, providing the high levels of support we pride ourselves on.

Experience Required:

• Be qualified to ONC/HNC or degree level, ideally with a mechanical or electrical bias
• Have experience with and be capable using Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Siemens or Omron PLC's
• Have experience liaising with clients
• Be able to manage their time efficiently as you will often be required to be involved in multiple projects, making prioritisation crucial.
• Live within practical traveling distance of our works and be fluent in English.
