An exciting new opportunity has become available within the Industrial Planning & Capability (IPC) area for a Principal Manufacturing Engineer to join the team. This opportunity will enable you to support the building of a new manufacturing function to review future demand to ensure the appropriate industrial planning and investment is captured.
Job Title: Industrial Planning and Capacity Principal Manufacturing Engineer
Salary: Circa £49,000 depending on experience
Location: Bolton
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Typical 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The opportunity:
An Opportunity has arisen to work on the development of manufacturing capacity modelling across the business units across sites. The role will expand with value stream mapping activities across the UK manufacturing systems, defining the process and governance around capacity modelling, supporting new business bids and future demand assessments.
