The Role:

You will be responsible for overseeing and leading our Solar PV installation teams regionally to ensure that the highest standards in quality and health and safety are maintained at all times.

Managing site relationships, day to day performance problems, H&S issues and remedial works to ensure all clients, customers and engineers have that go to person.

Although you will not be installing PV systems, you will be responsible for finding and training new installation teams (in line with manufacturers guidelines), auditing and spot checking their work and maintaining the best practise for all PV installers that work on behalf of Eco2Solar in line with our governing bodies expectations.

As the Installation Team Leader you will be responsible for the setting the methods, standards and processes and maintaining the highest codes of best practise for our roofing and electrical installation teams.

You will also be looking at recruiting, training and onboarding installers as our workload increases over the coming years.

The most important experience is within roofing/site work.

Responsibilities:

+ Responsible for the field management of the installation teams against KPIs (volume, efficiency, quality, remedials).
+ Audit and quality control installations by spot checking and desk top audits all teams to maintain quality and best practise, auditing levels must be maintained.
+ Responsible for ensuring that all installations are in accordance with current regulations and MCS scheme requirements by carrying out and documenting site audits nationwide
+ Actions feedback from internal audits to highlight potential non-conformances with installation teams.
+ Present a professional image at all times setting examples for the Installation team.
+ Recruit, train and monitor the Solar installation teams regionally.
+ Searches, recruits and trains new installation teams based on capacity and volume.
+ Responsible for onboarding new team members and the continuous development of existing team members (Health and Safety, Tool Box talks, new products etc…)

About You:

+ 5 years’ experience in Solar installations (preferably experience in new build construction).
+ Proven experience of managing, motivating and leading a team.
+ Be adaptable to continuous change and be able to meet strict deadlines.
+ Full driving licence.
+ Computer literate (MS Applications)
+ CSCS / SMSTS card holder
+ Qualified Solar installer with experience using various flat roof and integrated PV mounting systems.
+ Proven experience as a highly skilled Solar installer.
+ Experience of working on sites within construction industry desirable.
