The Job Role:

Maintenance Engineering

• Manage the maintenance client contracts and maintenance/support works, with support from the operation manager and Sales director.
• To take the lead role in all customer maintenance work. Carry out both preventive maintenance and unscheduled support visits for all the WAVI clients as needed.
• To provide the main point of contact for all email and telephone support calls for our maintenance clients.
• To provide out of hours and weekend support on an occasional basis if required.
• To provide direction and supervision of any AV Engineers, technicians or assistant assigned and take responsibility for on-site liaison with client representatives and other parties.
• To be responsible for creating all maintenance reports, keeping records and documentation trails up to date, ensuring maintenance colleague also record all data in line with company needs.
• To assist the installation team with build/install projects as required, helping to ensure continuity of engineering from installation to support and maintenance.
• Take an active role in the WAVI team support, assisting with the management of in-house PAT testing, equipment fault finding and repairs for both company and client equipment.

Installation Team Support

• To assist on occasion, the technical director and sales team in the design stage of projects, to help ensure maintainable solutions are produced, tasks may include research and documentation.
• To manage and maintain the maintenance diary and bookings, working with the team to ensure that staffing requirements are suitable for maintenance and support jobs.
• To input, update and help collate all customer and supplier data as required by software systems in use.
• To carry out, organise and manage in house maintenance tasks, such as PAT testing of any Installation portable equipment, Ladder and vehicle checks and maintenance of company systems.
• To undertake supplier training courses on new equipment and systems that may be implemented within installation projects

The Candidate:

Requirements

• In-depth understanding and experience with a broad range of AV equipment.
• Understand and demonstrate good practical termination skills.
• Have good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be comfortable with leading others and client communication.
• Be fluent in modern computing, both hardware and software
• Good ability to use windows-based & Mac applications.
• Use of Microsoft SharePoint
• Have ECS or CSCS health & safety certification.
• Audinate Dante certification level 2
• Crestron field technician track
• QSYS level 1 min

• Yamaha DSP knowledge
• Jet built experience.
