Company: Global Distributor of chemicals & ingredients used in everyday products

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Instore Operative to join our Woking team. Reporting to the Instore Team Leader, the successful candidate will safely and accurately receive, put away, pick, dispatch, store and count products supplied to McLaren.

These shifts will be Monday to Friday and on a weekly rotating pattern of 06:00-14:30 and 09:30-18:00.

What you’ll deliver day-to-day:

+ Ensure that MHE is properly presented and operated
+ Ensure that the correct goods are received, stored and dispatched in good condition
+ Ensure the correct completion of documentation
+ Be compliant to all policies, procedures and legislative requirements
+ Ensure the correct receipt and dispatch of goods
+ Ensure the correct picking of customer orders
+ Inspect returned stock for external appearance, date of manufacture and evidence of internal contamination – in accordance with company procedures
+ Cooperate on all matters concerned with health, safety, training, legislation and the environment

About You:

The successful candidate will have good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be able to work without supervision when required. The role is fast paced and customer facing so previous experience within similar roles would be preferred. The successful candidate would also be required to be flexible and be available for shift work. Computer literacy would also be very advantageous for this role.
