Salary: £28,500 per annum

Supplemental pay types: Profit share

About the Role:

You will be office based with on-site surveys when required - wherever you meet your customers you will strive to develop excellent relationships.

With your natural interest in design and the desire to keep up to date with the latest trends, you will drive sales while working to deadlines.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their kitchen design needs and preferences
• Preparing and developing concepts and presentations
• Create detailed kitchen/bathroom designs, including layout, cabinetry, countertops, and lighting design
• Provide guidance and recommendations on materials, finishes, and fixtures
• Assist clients in selecting and sourcing products for their kitchen remodel or renovation
• Prepare accurate project estimates and budgets based on client requirements
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of projects
• Oversee the installation process to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design and remodelling process
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in kitchen design.

About you:

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Kitchen and bathroom Designer or similar role
• Proficient in using design software such as CAD or similar
• Strong knowledge of kitchen and bathroom design principles, trends, and building codes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills to address any design or construction challenges that may arise
• Knowledge of budgeting and cost estimation for kitchen remodelling project -Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Experience:

• Winner Flex: 3 years (preferred)
• AutoCAD: 6 years (preferred)
• Kitchen design: 3 years (preferred)
• Interior Design: 5 years (preferred)
• Bathroom design 3 years

Licence/Certification:

• FULL UK Driving Licence (Essential)

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Peterborough
