To re-imagine the next chapter for Jaguar Land Rover, Jaguar will have undergone a renaissance to emerge as a pure electric luxury brand. A new luxury vehicle range is to be delivered at pace with agile focused actions from a small brand lead product team based in the heart of Jaguar Design. Within the product team, Jaguar Electrical has a small, dedicated group ensuring the EVA25 electrical architecture and feature set are seamlessly delivered into the Jaguar vehicles with our key engineering delivery partner.
The focus of the role will be to lead the Jaguar Integration of ADAS hardware and features into the Jaguar platform. The role will require close working with the AAD core engineering team and Engineering service provider.

The role will own attribute reporting using information consolidated from working with the core engineering team. Single point of contact for ADAS topics withing Jaguar programme to ensure correct engineering team members are connected. The delivery environment will require a successful candidate to be technically inquisitive, to support root cause analysis and provide a foundation level of engineering assistance. 

 

Candidates with  experience working in any complex system delivering within a project delivery environment would be considered for this role.  

  • Understanding of System engineering life cycle and application
  • Understanding of vehicle architecture
  • Understanding of system of system concepts
  • Excellent influencing and stakeholder management 
  • Excellent ability to backwards pass plan & clearly summarise and report

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Identify key risk from the ADAS delivery onto Jaguar programmes & identify mitigating actions 
  • Present ADAS specific Jaguar content up to director level
  • Responsible attribute reporting
  • Unit Programme interaction and communication
  • Problem definition and initial root cause analysis
  • Maintaining and growing ADAS colleague network to aid smooth delivery
