Rate: £50 to £55 per hour depending on experience

Job Description

Our client, a market leader within the Defence industry are currently looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join them on a contract basis, initially for 6 months.

Your duties

• Manage and Maintain specific programme processes and procedures

• Change management for any customer, supplier or internal design changes

• Provide schedule estimates

• Identify and Manage any Obsolescence issues

• Be a Technical Liaison between internal Design Teams, customers, quality teams and suppliers

• Create, review and sign off data packs

• Wiring modifications

• Diagnose Electrical Problems / Inspect Electrical Wiring & Assemblies

• Support with Factory Acceptance Test procedures

Skills & Experienced required

• Degree, HND or HNC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering

• Design experience of PLC based Control Systems

• Strong Change Management experience

• Ability to interpret technical specifications C&I design data, electrical schematics and interface specifications

• ***Must hold current SC Level security clearance***
